Wai Khru Ceremony 2017

Sotpattana School for the Deaf organized the traditional annual Wai Khru ceremony for the academic year 2017, with 40 students and 10 pre-school kids of the Pattaya Orphanage in attendance and expressing their appreciation to the teachers, both Thai and non-Thai, for imparting knowledge to them and providing them with parental care.. 1st Healthy Kids Program

Teachers of Sotpattana School for the Deaf organized the first Healthy Kids Program in front of the school, with four stations, i.e. Dental Care, Hand Wash, Good Foods, and Lice Free, during which the students actively participated and learned with fun about the significance of good health in their daily living..

1st Parents’ Meeting

Sotpattana School for the Deaf organised the first meeting of parents for the new academic year 2017/2018 on Friday 9th June 2017 at the multi-purpose hall of the Pattaya Orphanage. During the opening session, Acting Licensee and Manager – Rev. Michael Weera Phangrak – welcomed the 40 participants and gave them encouragement as well as viewpoints on kids with special needs. Director Angkana Kamnerdtone then shared with the parents the background of the School and introduced her professional teaching personnel and staff, followed by the introduction of Teachers Anirut Chaicharoen and Sirigun Kojaengklang on our early childhood curriculum, academic requirements, extra-curricular activities, and the care of the students’ hearing aids. It was a great opportunity for the participants to get to know one another for future collaboration and mutual support.
