Thai Ways

To help children learn about the culture and tradition of Thai people, and to preserve them, Sotpattana School for the Deaf held a half-day activity with three learning stations, i.e. Thai Manners, Thai Dessert, and Thai Children’s Games, in front of the School.. The students took active participation in learning how to correctly pay respect to a Buddhist monk and the statue of the Lord Buddha, make mung bean rice-crepes, and play fun-filled outdoor games..

Workshop on Thai Signs

Sotpattana School for the Deaf organised the second workshop on Thai Signs for parents and caretakers of students in our care. This time, the 30 participants had fun learning about Family, Animals, Fruits, Colours, and Places for the enhancement of communication with persons with hearing impairments, especially the little ones in their homes.

A Wider World

Students at Sotpattana School for the Deaf went on an educational trip to Bang Saen area to visit and learn from Saensuk Temple and the Marine Science Museum of the Institute of Marine Science Burapha University, in Chonburi. They also spent time at Bang Phra Navy Agriculture Center to learn about “Banana Trees” based on the local curriculum.. It was a wonderful, exciting, and very educational trip..
