Observing Buddhist Lent

Apart from learning from the weekly theme: Buddhist Lent, students at Sotpattana School for the Deaf traveled a short distance to Chonglom Temple in Naklua, to present Lenten candles and necessities to the abbot and monks. Pre-school children and expat volunteers also joined the event. They observed this special religious day prior to the actual day – 31st July – as the school will have a holiday. “I Love Reading” Activity

Sotpattana School for the Deaf organised its first “I Love Reading” Activity for the academic year 2015-2016 on the 17th July 2015. In our lawn and around the playground, attentive students enjoyed reading, spelling, writing, and remembering new words with fun. Their hearing impairment was not at all an obstacle to their learning..
