Teaching Aids: Exhibition and Contest.. Sotpattana School for the Deaf holds an exhibition and contest on teaching aids for the academic year 2013. Throughout the year, each of the teachers has been creating teaching aids for use in their effective and interesting work. The honorable judges include executives and teachers from the Pattaya Orphanage, as well as parents of the deaf students. Our children also experiment the various learning aids they have not seen in their class. Thanks to the teaching personnel for their creativity and congratulations on the quality production.

2014 Walk Rally

2014 Walk Rally: Each year, the second and third year students at Sotpattana School for the Deaf look forward to having lots of fun at the annual Walk Rally activity. The new comers will enjoy their first experience and look forward to the next year’s event. Pre-school kids at the Pattaya Orphanage also enthusiastically join this special day. Rev. Michael Weera Phangrak opens the 2014 event which promotes children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development through their participation in the four learning stations, i.e. Paper Art, Happy/Humorous, DIY, and Adventure. Special thanks to all concerned who make this a wonderful day.

“I Love Reading Programme”

Each year, towards the end of the second semester, children of Sotpattana School for the Deaf take part in the “I Love Reading Programme” and are encouraged to realize the significance of reading. Our teachers prepared three learning stations, i.e. “What is it?,” “I Read, I Know, I Draw,” and “Decoding Alphabets,” in the outdoor class. It took the whole morning for all the kids to go through these fun-filled stations. It’s so encouraging to see how keen the children are to learn..
